This policy explains how Jay Bawa Systems ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use this website. It applies to this website only. Applications we build or operate for clients have their own terms. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

• The information you provide about your project

Our hosting provider also processes technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.

We use your enquiry details to respond to you, discuss your project and keep a record of our correspondence. We rely on your consent when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run this website and our email, including Cloudflare for hosting and security, and Zoho for email. These providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the law requires. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to respond to you, manage any resulting relationship and meet our legal obligations. We then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Give you access to your personal data
• Correct data that is inaccurate
• Delete your data, or restrict how we use it
• Provide your data in a portable format
• Stop using your data, or withdraw a consent you gave

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Keeping your data secure

This website is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to enquiries to people who need it to do their work. No system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through the contact form.
